These terms govern your use of PERENNIAL EFFECT services. By becoming a member, you agree to these terms and conditions.

These terms govern your access to and use of Perennial Effect's companion matching service, including our platform, events, and related services.

Service Definition

Perennial Effect provides:

• Companion matching services for people with intellectual and cognitive differences
• Member-only platform access
• Social events and community activities
• Secure communication platform
• Safety monitoring and support services

Important: We are NOT an employer of companions and do NOT provide personal care, medical, or therapeutic services.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must reside in Victoria, Australia
• Must complete background checks where applicable
• Must participate in comprehensive vetting processes
• Caregivers and guardians may assist throughout the process

Membership Fees

Our paid membership model includes:

• One-time application fee: $199 AUD
• Monthly access fee: $9.99 AUD
• All fees are in Australian Dollars
• Fees are generally non-refundable (see Refund Policy for exceptions)

Safety and Reporting

We maintain strict safety protocols and reporting obligations:

• Comprehensive background checks for all members
• Mandatory reporting obligations under Victorian law
• 24/7 reporting mechanisms for safety concerns
• Regular safety monitoring and support

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Victorian jurisdiction.
